HEBRON, September 5, 2025 (WAFA) – Several Palestinians, including an elderly couple and a 3-month-old infant, were injured on Friday in a terror attack by Israeli colonists backed by Israeli occupation forces in the village of Khirbet Khallet al-Dabe’, in the Masafer Yatta area south of Hebron.

Jaber Dababseh, a resident of the village, said that colonists from nearby illegal outposts stormed Palestinian homes under the protection of Israeli soldiers, assaulting residents with sharp tools.

The assault left elderly Ali Dababseh and his wife Amina with fractures, head wounds, and bruises. Their relative, Abbas Dababseh, was stabbed and sustained injuries, while his wife suffered fractures and bruising. Their 3-month-old daughter was exposed to toxic gas and suffered from suffocation. Their sons Qutaiba and Ezzedine were also wounded and sustained broken bones. Another resident, Hani Dababseh, was stabbed and suffered fractures and injuries.

Anti-settlement activist Osama Makhamra told WAFA that additional villagers were also injured and treated in the field. He said the colonists vandalized several homes, smashing property, water tanks, and solar power systems that supply the village with electricity.

Makhamra called on international institutions and human rights organizations to intervene and put a stop to the ongoing attacks by Israeli forces and colonists in Masafer Yatta.

According to recent data, colonists carried out 431 attacks in August alone, mainly in the governorates of Ramallah (115), Nablus (77), and Hebron (69). Jerusalem and Jericho each recorded 40 incidents.
