RAMALLAH, August 26, 2025 (WAFA) – The Palestinian Presidency warned Tuesday of the grave Israeli escalation in the occupied West Bank, following raids on the cities of Ramallah and Hebron that resulted in the detention and injury of dozens of Palestinians, along with the destruction of property and the theft of funds. The raids came after widespread devastation in Palestinian cities, camps, and villages, most recently in Al-Mughayyir village.

The Presidency described these attacks as acts of aggression against the Palestinian people and their land, holding the Israeli government fully responsible for the escalation. It called on the United States administration to shoulder its responsibilities by pressuring Israel to immediately halt these crimes in the West Bank, which are taking place in parallel with the ongoing genocide and starvation in the Gaza Strip.

It stressed that the Israeli government is pushing the situation toward a major explosion aimed at forcing Palestinians from their land and displacing them, emphasizing that the Palestinian people will neither leave nor relinquish their land and holy sites. It reiterated that there will be either security and peace for all, or security for no one.

The Presidency urged the international community to assume its responsibilities in putting an end to these condemned and rejected Israeli practices, warning that they will only fuel further escalation and heighten already explosive tensions in Gaza, the West Bank, and Jerusalem.
