HEBRON, August 24, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists bulldozed wide areas of Palestinian-owned land on Sunday in the Masafer Yatta area, located south of Hebron in the southern occupied West Bank.
Osama Makhamreh, a local media activist in Masafer Yatta, reported that a group of colonists, accompanied by a bulldozer, carried out the land leveling in the Al-Hamra area, near the illegal outpost of Havat Ma'on. The action is part of ongoing efforts to seize Palestinian land for colonial expansion, he said.
In addition to bulldozing, colonist groups have continued grazing their sheep across lands belonging to local residents in the area.
These herds of sheep are regularly brought close to homes and communities in various villages and hamlets throughout Masafer Yatta, leading to the destruction of crops and trees and intensifying pressure on Palestinians to leave the area.
