Colonists attack, injure a Palestinian man and his son east of Hebron

HEBRON, August 19, 2025 (WAFA) – A Palestinian man and his son sustained injuries today, Tuesday, after being attacked by a group of Israeli colonists east of the city of Hebron.

Shaker Hamed Al-Zaro said that several colonists physically attacked him and his son, Faraj, while they were tending to their agricultural land, located near the colonial settlement of Kiryat Arba, illegally built on the city's lands. The assault left them with injuries to the head, limbs, and chest.

Al-Zaro added that the land in question, planted with olive and grape trees, has remained abandoned for the past two years due to ongoing colonists’ attacks.

Colonists, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, regularly attack and prevent landowners from accessing the area, threatening them with violence and death.
