Colonists set up three tents on Palestinian land in Masafer Yatta

HEBRON, August 18, 2025 (WAFA) – Colonists set up three tents on Palestinian land in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, on Monday.

Anti-settlement activist Osama Makhamreh told WAFA that armed settlers set up three tents in the Huwara area of Masafer Yatta to establish a new settlement outpost.

They placed several flags around the tents and brought household items, furniture, and furnishings.

Colonists also released a large number of sheep and cows among Palestinian homes and on their lands in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, in a provocative move to pressure residents and harm their trees, property, and agricultural crops.

Colonists carried out excavation operations with heavy machinery in the settlement outpost adjacent to the village of Al-Halawa in Masafer Yatta and prevented citizens from accessing their lands in the area, claiming it was a training and shooting area.
