RAMALLAH, August 16, 2025 (WAFA) – Eighteen-year-old Hamdan Mousa Mohammed Abu Alia succumbed to critical wounds sustained earlier this evening after being shot by Israeli occupation forces in the village of al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah.

Earlier in the evening, Israeli forces stormed the village and opened live fire at Abu Alia, shooting him in the back before beating him, according to Amin Abu Alia, head of the village council.

Abu Alia was transferred to hospital, where he later succumbed to his critical injuries.

Earlier today, several colonists, under the protection of occupation forces, attacked the village, setting vehicles and caravans on fire and attacking several homes.
