HEBRON, August 16, 2025 (WAFA) – An elderly Palestinian woman, a child, and a young man were injured on Saturday in an Israeli colonist attack during a raid in the town of Halhul, north of Hebron, according to local and security sources.

They told WAFA that colonists from the illegal outpost of Karmei Tzur, established on Palestinian lands north of Hebron, assaulted and attacked Palestinian residents in the Khiran area of Halhul, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces.

The assault resulted in the injury of 59-year-old Najla Hussein Aql, with a deep wound to her head, while a child and a young man from the same family sustained multiple bruises and wounds.

The reported casualties were later transferred to the Red Crescent Hospital in Halhul, where their condition was described as moderate.

The heavily armed colonists hurled stones towards Palestinian residents, threatening to kill them and cursing with obscene language. They also attempted to steal resident's properties and harvest.
