RAMALLAH, August 15, 2025 (WAFA) – Colonists chopped down olive trees on Friday in the village of Abu Falah, northeast of Ramallah, according to local sources.
Sources said that colonists stormed an area located between the villages of al-Mughayyir and Abu Falah, and cut down several olive trees belonging to a local resident.
Colonists carried out 466 attacks last month, marking one of the highest levels of colonists’ violence against Palestinian villages and Bedouin communities. The attacks were mainly concentrated in Ramallah with 126 incidents, followed by Hebron with 103, Nablus with 83, and Bethlehem with 39.
Colonists’ violence against Palestinians and their properties has dramatically increased since the onset of Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people on October 7th, 2023.
The indiscriminate violence by Israeli colonists against Palestinian civilians and their properties has been widely condemned.
Several countries have imposed sanctions against Israeli colonists accused of committing acts of violence against the Palestinian people in the West Bank.
