HEBRON, August 15, 2025 (WAFA) – A Palestinian resident and his wife were injured on Friday morning, after being attacked by extremist colonists in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, according to a local activist.
Activist Osama Makhamreh said that colonists attacked the homes of Palestinian residents in the village of Susiya in Masfer Yatta, beating a man and his wife with sticks and clubs, causing them injuries to the head and hands. The two were transferred to a hospital for treatment.
Colonists also attacked the home of another resident, destroying several fruit trees and damaging his vehicle.
In Khirbet al-Fakhit in Masfer Yatta, several colonists stormed the area and roamed near Palestinian residents’ homes to provoke and attack residents.
Colonist gangs, under the protection of the occupation army, have stepped up attacks on Palestinian citizens and their property in Masafer Yatta to force them to leave their land for the benefit of colonial expansion.
