SALFIT, August 10, 2025 (WAFA) - Colonists set fire Sunday evening to the property of a local Palestinian citizen in the town of Az-Zawiya, west of Salfit, and forcibly expelled him from his land.

Property owner, Abdel Aziz Shqair, explained that a group of colonists stormed the Khallet Hamad area west of the town, setting fire to an agricultural barracks containing equipment and tools. Colonists also set fire to eight fully-grown olive trees and damaged a rainwater collection well, causing severe material losses.

Colonists assaulted Shaqir and several members of his family, forcibly expelling them from their land, where they have lived for decades and rely on it for livestock breeding.
