JERICHO, August 10, 2025 (WAFA) – Palestinian youth Abdullah Mohammed Atiyat, 25, has succumbed to critical wounds he sustained by Israeli occupation forces (IOF) gunfire in Jericho on Saturday evening.
WAFA correspondent reported that Atiyat was transferred at dawn today from Jericho Governmental Hospital to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem due to the seriousness of his health condition. He was pronounced dead this morning.
It is noteworthy that IOF opened fire at Atiyat during a raid on Qasr Hisham Street in the city center, wounding him in the upper body.
His condition was described as critical.
Last night, IOF raided several streets and neighborhoods in Jericho, firing live ammunition.
