BETHLEHEM, August 9, 2025 (WAFA) - Israeli colonists Friday night assaulted a number of Palestinian farmers while they were working on their land in the Khallet al-Nahla area of Wadi Rahhal village, south of Bethlehem, according to security sources.
Colonists physically attacked the farmers, injuring at least four people with various cuts and bruises throughout their bodies.
The Khallet al-Nahla area has been subjected to repeated assaults by colonists over the years as part of efforts to seize more agricultural land for the benefit of colonial settlement expansion.
Meanwhile, in the Northern Jordan Valley, colonists stormed the Khirbet Samra community, causing fear among residents, especially among women and children. The area experiences daily raids by armed colonists as part of an ongoing pressure strategy aimed at forcing Palestinians to leave their homes, in line with the Israeli plan to empty the Jordan Valley of its Palestinian population.
