SALFIT, August 9, 2025 (WAFA) –Israeli colonists attacked Palestinian farmers working on their land in the village of Farkha, south of Salfit, according to a local official.
The armed colonists opened live ammunition at farmers while attending their land and uprooted centuries-old olive trees.
The head of the village council, Mustafa Hammad, said that seven colonists, including two armed men, assaulted residents in the Al-Safaha area, cutting down and breaking ancient olive trees.
Israeli occupation forces later detained ten Palestinians following the colonist s’ attack.
