NEW YORK, July 30, 2025 (WAFA) – The Malaysian representative called for an immediate halt  to the supply of weapons, ammunition, and equipment to Israel that enable it to expand and deepen its occupation."

He affirmed that Malaysia had banned Israeli-flagged ships, and vessels headed to Israel from docking in Malaysian ports, stressing this is a concrete step that all nations can take.

The Malaysian representative also emphasized that the international community must "unequivocally reject Israel's attempts to undermine the United Nations," including by confronting its actions aimed at discrediting, intimidating, and undermining the credibility of UN officials.

He called for defending and safeguarding the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA).

"Israel must be forced to allow unimpeded humanitarian access," He added.  Emphasizing, "We condemn the deadly trap known as the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, which has so far claimed the lives of nearly 1,000 Palestinians seeking food aid.
