SALFIT, July 29, 2025 (WAFA) – A group of colonists attacked a number of farmers on Tuesday morning in the village of Farkha, southwest of Salfit, as they attempted to confront colonists' attacks on their agricultural lands.

Local sources told WAFA that the colonists released their sheep to graze on olive-grove lands in the "Al-Safaha" area, west of the village, before attacking the farmers who tried to prevent them from destroying their crops, under the direct protection of the Israeli occupation forces.

For about three years, the village of Farkha has witnessed an escalation in colonists' attacks, resulting in them seizing large areas of its lands, including approximately 75% of the lands planted with olive trees. Farmers are prevented from accessing their lands in these areas, amid clear complicity from the occupation forces.

The people of Farkha warned of the danger of continuing these attacks, which threaten to lead to the loss of more agricultural land and directly affect the livelihood of dozens of families.
