RAMALLAH, July 28, 2025 (WAFA) – A Palestinian man was injured on Monday evening as residents attempted to fend off an attack by Israeli colonists on the village of Kafr Malik, east of Ramallah, according to local sources.

Sources said the colonists opened fire on residents who attempted to confront the attack, shooting and injuring a young man in the hand.

Colonists had raided two areas of the village as well as several poultry farms on its outskirts, as part of a growing pattern of colonists’ violence in the area.

Colonists’ violence against Palestinians and their properties has dramatically increased since the onset of Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people on October 7th, 2023.

The indiscriminate violence by Israeli colonists against Palestinian civilians and their properties has been widely condemned.

Several countries have imposed sanctions against Israeli colonists accused of committing acts of violence against the Palestinian people in the West Bank.
