NABLUS, July 6, 2025 (WAFA) – A Palestinian was killed and two others were injured, one of whom was detained, on Sunday, during an Israeli occupation forces raid on the town of Salem, east of Nablus, during wich they besieged two homes on the eastern side of the town.
The head of the Salem Village Council, Adli Shtayyeh, said that the occupation forces stormed the town and surrounded two homes on the eastern side, amidst the sounds of gunfire as additional military reinforcements kept coming in.
He added that confrontations erupted between citizens and the occupation forces, during which the latter fired heavy live ammunition at the citizens and their homes.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that its crews received the body of a slain Palestinian from inside one of the two homes surrounded in the town.
His identity hasn't been revealed yet.
A WAFA correspondent reported that two citizens were injured by live ammunition, one of whom was 62 years old and was transported by Red Crescent ambulance. The other citizen was detained by the occupation forces after being shot.
