JORDAN VALLEY, July 4, 2025 (WAFA) — A group of Israeli colonists forcibly expelled Palestinian residents from their tents near the village of Al-Sakout in the northern Jordan Valley, in the northeastern West Bank, on Friday, according to local sources.
Mahdi Daraghmeh, head of the Al-Malih and Bedouin Communities Council, stated that the colonists forced the family of Louay Ali Zuhdi to leave their tents in the Al-Juba area near Al-Sakout. The tents, used for grazing and livestock farming during the summer months, were then seized by the colonists.
Daraghmeh emphasized that the Zuhdi family has been subjected to ongoing, daily harassment by Israeli colonists at their residence. These incidents include repeated attacks on their homes, intimidation of residents, physical assaults, and the chasing of shepherds off grazing lands. In some cases, livestock have been assaulted or stolen.
