HEBRON, July 2, 2025 (WAFA) – Armed colonists Wednesday attacked Palestinian homes in the village of Susiya in the Masafer Yatta area, south of Hebron.

Susiya Village Council head Jihad al-Nawajaa told WAFA that a group of armed colonists have been besieging the village for several days and have been attacking Palestinian homes with stones for the second day.

He added that residents of the village live under constant threat from the colonists and have been forced to leave their jobs and remain in the village to protect their families and property.

The communities and villages of Masafer Yatta have recently witnessed a continuous and significant escalation in colonists' attacks, including shooting, destroying and damaging fields and crops, burning homes, stealing sheep, and other attacks.

These attacks are part of the Israeli occupation authorities' policy of forced displacement against the residents of the area.
