RAMALLAH, June 27, 2025 (WAFA) – A Palestinian was injured on Friday evening after being shot in the lower back with a rubber-coated metal bullet fired by Israeli forces in the town of Sinjil, north of Ramallah.
According to eyewitnesses, during the Israeli forces’ raid on the Al-Tal area south of the town, they opened fire on residents gathered at the site of an earlier colonists’ attack, shooting and injuring one of them.
Local sources reported that around 30 colonists, some armed, detained two Palestinian civilians and a foreign activist inside a vehicle near an illegal colonial outpost in the area, where they physically assaulted them and threatened to kill them.
Israeli forces later arrived at the scene and detained the two Palestinians and the foreign activist for approximately two hours before releasing them.
