RAMALLAH, June 27, 2025 (WAFA) – A group of Israeli colonists stormed the southern outskirts of Sinjil, a town north of Ramallah, on Friday evening, triggering confrontations with local residents.

Eyewitnesses stated that colonists broke into the Al-Tal area south of Sinjil and tried to advance toward the town. This prompted stone-throwing confrontations after residents spotted the intrusion and mobilized to stop the colonists from reaching residential areas.

According to WAFA correspondent, citing eyewitness accounts, armed colonists detained, threatened and assaulted several residents and activists who tried to confront the attack.

Concurrently, colonists set fire to a cluster of cypress trees in an agricultural area near the nearby town of Turmus Ayya, northeast of Ramallah.
