JERICHO, May 27, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists on Friday morning stole several sheep from the Palestinian Bedouin community of Arab al-Mleihat, located northwest of Jericho in the occupied West Bank.

Hassan Mleihat, general coordinator of the Al-Baidar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights, told WAFA that a group of colonists from a nearby illegal outpost stormed the village, got out of their vehicle, and stole several young sheep belonging to local resident Ibrahim Attallah Ka’abneh.

Mleihat noted that this theft is part of a broader and escalating campaign of colonist violence targeting Palestinian herders in Arab al-Mlihāt. Recent attacks include beatings, threats, the forced eviction of shepherds from grazing lands, livestock theft, and the destruction of private property.
