RAMALLAH, June 23, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists on Monday evening attacked Palestinian-licensed vehicles near Turmusayya, north of the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah, according to local sources.
They said that colonists hurled stones at passing Palestinian vehicles that stopped at a traffic light at the entrance of the Shilo colony, established on the lands of Turmusayya and several other villages, and attacked passengers, spewing pepper spray in their faces.
Colonists’ violence against Palestinians and their property is routine in the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli authorities.
Colonists’ violence includes property and mosque arsons, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, and attacks on vulnerable homes, among others.
Approximately 1 million Israeli colonists are living in colonies in the West Bank and East Jerusalem in violation of international law.
