HEBRON, June 20, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces launched sound bombs and tear gas canisters at Palestinian civilians and their homes in the towns of Idhna and Halhul in the Hebron Governorate, resulting in multiple cases of suffocation among residents.
The assaults also caused damage to several vehicles, as troops stormed residential homes and extensively ransacked their contents.
Local and security sources told WAFA that Israeli forces detained a child and two young men from Idhna and Halhul, whose identities have not yet been confirmed.
Additionally, Israeli troops detained a resident at a military checkpoint set up at the entrance to the village of Zif, south of Hebron.
The town of Sa’ir, northeast of Hebron, was also declared a closed military zone, as occupation forces raided, searched and wreaked havoc in several homes.
Meanwhile, colonists from the illegal Israeli outpost of Avigayil, built on Palestinian-owned land south of Hebron, chased after Palestinian shepherds in the eastern area of Tel Ma’in near Shaab al-Butum in Masafer Yatta.
The colonists attempted to steal livestock, stole the mobile phone of a resident, and allowed their herds to graze on Palestinian farmland.
