Two Palestinians sustain injuries in colonists’ attack near Nablus

NABLUS, June 10, 2025 (WAFA) – Two Palestinians on Tuesday evening sustained injuries in an attack by Israeli colonists in the village of Osarin, south of the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, according to local and medical sources.

They said that two villagers sustained injuries due to falling after attempting to fend off an attack on the village by Israeli colonists, under the protection of the occupying forces.

The casualties were taken to a local medical center.

Meanwhile, colonists, protected by the occupying forces, barged their way into the main entrance of al-Lubban ash-Sharqiyya village, south of Nablus, and performed Talmudic rituals, obstructing the free movement of Palestinians into and out of the village.

This came as the gun-toting soldiers closed the metal gate at the village entrance.

Colonists’ violence against Palestinians and their property is routine in the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli authorities.

Colonists’ violence includes property and mosque arsons, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, and attacks on vulnerable homes, among others.

Approximately 1 million Israeli colonists are living in colonies in the West Bank and East Jerusalem in violation of international law.
