Colonists close main entrance to Luban e-Sharkiya for third time in a week

NABLUS, June 1, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists blocked the main entrance to the village of Luban e-Sharkiya, south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank, on Sunday morning for the third time in a week.

WAFA correspondent reported that dozens of colonists, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, stormed the village’s main entrance, performed Talmudic rituals, and obstructed the movement of Palestinian citizens entering and exiting the area.

Witnesses said the colonists held Israeli flags and danced at the village's entrance while threatening villagers and vowing to prevent their movement.

This is the latest in a series of repeated provocations and restrictions imposed by colonists in the area, contributing to heightened tension and further curtailing the daily lives of the Palestinian population.
