HEBRON, May 31, 2025 (WAFA) – Armed Israeli colonists assaulted Palestinian farmers on Saturday while they were tending their land in the town of Sa'ir, northeast of Hebron. Israeli occupation forces, who arrived to protect the attackers, detained a young Palestinian man who attempted to defend the farmers.
WAFA correspondent reported that the colonists attacked farmers in the Al-Tuffouf area of Sa'ir. Instead of intervening, the occupation forces detained Jehad Al-Shalaldeh during his attempt to push back the colonists.
The incident reflects an increasingly systematic pattern of colonist aggression against Palestinian communities in the occupied West Bank—often carried out with the active backing or passive consent of Israeli forces, particularly in areas under threat of land confiscation or forced displacement.
