Colonists uproot olive saplings near Hebron

HEBRON, May 29, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists Thursday uprooted dozens of olive saplings from citizens' lands east of Yatta, south of Hebron.

Media activist Osama Makhamreh said that settlers uprooted dozens of olive saplings and released their livestock onto the land of citizen Muhammad Ibrahim al-Adra in the Huwwara area east of Yatta. They also vandalized the fence surrounding the land.

Last month, colonists carried out 231 acts of vandalism and theft of Palestinian property, affecting vast areas of land.

Colonists attacks also resulted in the uprooting of 1,168 olive trees, distributed across the governorates of Ramallah with 530 trees, Nablus with 300, and Salfit with 298.
