HEBRON, May 25, 2025 (WAFA) – A Palestinian man sustained bruises on Sunday morning after being assaulted by armed Israeli colonists in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron in the southern West Bank, according to local sources.

Osama Makhmara, a local activist, told WAFA that a group of armed colonists chased and attacked Hani Abu Aram while he was herding his sheep in the Wadi Rahila area in Masafer Yatta. The colonists struck him with stones, resulting in multiple bruises.

The attack is part of an ongoing campaign of settler violence in Masafer Yatta, where Palestinian shepherds and farmers face near-daily harassment under the protection of Israeli forces.
