RAMALLAH, May 22, 2025 (WAFA) – American activists and citizens have made an urgent appeal to members of Congress via phone calls and emails, demanding immediate action to pressure Israel to lift the blockade on the Gaza Strip and allow the entry of more than 9,000 trucks of humanitarian aid stuck at the crossings.
These calls come amid shocking reports from the United Nations stating that more than 14,000 infants are at risk of dying if urgent medical and food supplies are not delivered immediately.
Through their calls to their congressional representatives, activists and citizens expressed their shock at the worsening humanitarian disaster and demanded immediate action, prioritizing the entry of aid and saving children before it is too late.
