JORDAN VALLEY, April 18, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists Saturday stole water pumps used to irrigate crops belonging to Palestinian farmers in the northern Jordan Valley, according to a local official.
Human rights activist Aref Daraghmeh said that a group of Israeli colonists broke into Khirbet al-Deir in the northern Jordan Valley, where they stole water pumps used to to irrigated crops. Additionally the gun-toting soldiers attacked solar panels in the area.
The northern Valley has been for years a regular target of attacks committed by colonists along with Israel, the occupying forces.
In a related context, colonists, protected by occupation army, seized equipment and three trucks while they were working to place an electricity line in the village of Beit Dajan, east of Nablus.
Tawfiq Hajj Muhammad, deputy head of the Beit Dajan village council, colonists attacked the crews working to place an electricity line east of the village.
They further seized trucks transporting concrete and electricity, triggering confrontations with local residents following the raid.
