HEBRON, April 13, 2025 (WAFA) – Two young Palestinian girls sustained injuries on Sunday following an attack by Israeli colonists in Khirbet al-Halawah in the Masafer Yatta region in Hebron, according to a local activist.
Osama Makhama, a local activist, reported that Israeli colonists physically assaulted residents and their children, resulting in bruises to the two girls. They were subsequently transferred to Yatta Governmental Hospital for medical treatment.
In the aftermath of the attack, Israeli occupation forces detained several Palestinian citizens who had intervened in an effort to protect their children from the colonists.
Meanwhile, colonists attacked the homes of Palestinian citizens in the Arab al-Malihat Bedouin community northwest of Jericho and pelted them with stones.
The general supervisor of the "Al-Baydar" organization, Hassan Mleihat, told WAFA that a group of colonists attacked the community with stones and terrorized the residents.
Colonists’ violence against Palestinians and their properties has dramatically increased since the onset of Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people on October 7th, 2023.
The indiscriminate violence by Israeli colonists against Palestinian civilians and their properties has been widely condemned.
Several countries have imposed sanctions against Israeli colonists accused of committing acts of violence against the Palestinian people in the West Bank.
