AMMAN, April 9, 2025 (WAFA) – Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi said on Wednesday that the Gaza Strip was suffering from an unprecedented humanitarian disaster, calling for an end to the ongoing Israeli genocidal aggression.
He made mis remarks during two separate meetings with delegations from Churches for Middle East Peace and peace process experts from the European Union missions accredited to the United Nations in New York.
According to a statement by the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Safadi stressed the necessity of halting the Israeli genocidal aggression on the Gaza Strip and opening the crossings designated for the entry of aid into the enclave, which is suffering from an unprecedented humanitarian disaster.
He also stressed the importance of halting the dangerous Israeli escalation in the West Bank and the encroachments upon Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem and respecting the legal and historical status quo there.
