NABLUS, April 9, 2025 (WAFA) – Two Palestinians, including a child, were injured by Israeli occupation forces during the ongoing raid on Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS).
The PRCS said that it treated two injuries, one from live bullets to the pelvis and foot, and the other to a child from shrapnel in the thigh.
It also emphasized that it is facing difficulty in accessing medical cases in the camp due to the occupation forces preventing its teams from moving.
Occupation forces have continued their raids on Balata refugee camp since the early hours of this morning, launching a campaign of detentions and extensive searches of citizens' homes.
Local sources indicated that the occupation forces have turned some homes into military and observation points after forcing their residents to evacuate them at dawn today.
Local sources said that occupation forces have been raiding all homes in the Jamasin and Maghdousha neighborhoods since early morning hours. They have also begun raiding and searching homes in the Badoud neighborhood, conducting field investigations with local citizens.
The gun-toting soldiers further targeted journalists on the outskirts of the camp, firing sound bombs and tear gas towards them, injuring one in the foot.
