RAMALLAH, April 6, 2025 (WAFA) — Israeli colonists cut down and uprooted several olive saplings today in the village of Umm Safa, located north of Ramallah, according to local sources.
Murad Sabbah, the head of the Umm Safa Village Council, told WAFA that the colonists destroyed approximately 15 newly planted olive saplings in the northern part of the village.
He explained that the olive trees were planted on land owned by a local Palestinian family, in the latest of a series of ongoing attacks against Palestinian agricultural lands by Israeli colonists in the region.
