GAZA, April 4, 2025 (WAFA) – Three Palestinians, including a child, were killed on Friday evening in Israeli airstrikes targeting Gaza and Rafah, according to local sources.
WAFA correspondent reported that Israeli warplanes launched several missiles at a house in the Zeitoun neighborhood of Gaza City, resulting in the killing of a young girl and injuring several other civilians.
In another attack, two Palestinians were killed when Israeli warplanes targeted a home belonging to the Qeshta family in the Khirbet al-Adas area, north of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip. Several residents remain trapped under the rubble of the destroyed house, and rescue teams are facing difficulties reaching them.
Meanwhile, Israeli artillery continues to bombard several neighborhoods in Rafah. Additionally, several Palestinians were wounded in an Israeli airstrike on a house in the Musabbeh area, north of Rafah.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 50,609 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 115,063 others injured.
Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.
Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
