BUENOS AIRES, March 31, 2025 (WAFA) – Scores of activists, human rights advocates, politicians, and members of the Arab and Palestinian communities gathered at the Obelisk, one of Buenos Aires' most emblematic landmarks, for a solidarity rally commemorating Palestinian Land Day.

Participants raised Palestinian and Argentine flags alongside banners calling for a ceasefire in Gaza and an end to Israel’s siege, military aggression, starvation war and genocide.

They also denounced Israeli forces and colonists' attacks on Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, including Jerusalem.

Activists and human rights advocates delivered speeches emphasizing the urgent need for international intervention to halt Israeli crimes and support the Palestinian people's struggle for freedom and justice.

Artist Florencia Bogado presented an exhibition of Palestinian embroidery during the rally, featuring national symbols such as the map of Palestine, the key of return and the olive tree, reflecting Palestinians' deep connection to their land, heritage and national identity.
