Five Palestinians killed and several injured in Israeli airstrikes across Gaza

GAZA, March 31, 2025 (WAFA) – Five Palestinian civilians were killed and several others injured in Israeli airstrikes across Gaza on Monday, the second day of Eid al-Fitr, according to local reports.

Three individuals were killed in an Israeli bombardment targeting the eastern outskirts of the village of Al-Musaddar in central Gaza. Another two people were killed and several others sustained injuries following an airstrike on a group of civilians east of Jabalia in northern Gaza.

In a separate incident, a child was injured when an Israeli drone dropped a bomb in the yard of a school run by the UNRWA in the Al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza. The school had been housing displaced individuals seeking refuge from the ongoing genocide.

Since Israel's resumption of its genocidal war on Gaza on March 18 after a two-month ceasefire, at least 921 Palestinians have been killed, and 2,054 others have been wounded, with a significant number of casualties being women and children.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 50,277 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 114,095 others injured.

Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.

Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
