GAZA, March 28, 2025 (WAFA) – A Palestinian man was killed and several others were injured in an Israeli airstrike late last night in the eastern part of Rafah, located in the southern Gaza Strip.

Local sources reported that the Israeli forces targeted civilians near the Al-Mashroua roundabout, east of Rafah, resulting in one person killed and multiple injuries.

In addition, Israeli military vehicles opened fire heavily east of Abasan Al-Kabira, situated east of Khan Younis.

Furthermore, Israeli artillery shelled the area surrounding Jabal al-Surani, east of the Al-Tuffah neighborhood in Gaza City, causing damsge but not casualties.

Israel has been waging a military onslaught on the Strip since October 2023, so far killing at least 50,208 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injuring 113,910 others.

Moreover, thousands of people are unaccounted for, presumed dead under the rubble of their homes throughout the Strip.

The Israeli aggression has also resulted in the forceful displacement of nearly two million people from all over the Gaza Strip, with the vast majority of the displaced forced into the densely crowded southern city of Rafah near the border with Egypt – in what has become Palestine's largest mass exodus since the 1948 Nakba.
