RAMALLAH, March 22, 2025 (WAFA) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned the Israeli occupation army's deliberate targeting of the Turkish-Palestinian Friendship Hospital in the Gaza Strip.
In a statement, the Ministry said that targeting and destroying hospitals, health centers, and medical and emergency personnel constitutes a war crime and a crime against humanity punishable under international law.
The Ministry further slammed this attack as a systematic attempt to deepen the genocide and displacement of the Palestinian people and annex their homeland. It falls within the framework of the occupation's policy of using starvation, deprivation of medical care, and denial of basic human rights as weapons of war.
It emphasized that the silence and inaction of the international community have become a cover for the continuation of the Israeli's aggression, calling for effective international intervention to stop it immediately and protect Palestinians and their rights.
