RAMALLAH, March 14, 2025 (WAFA) – Ireland welcomed the Gaza reconstruction plan recently adopted by Arab countries.

In a statement, Irish Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Minister of Defense Simon Harris said that this initiative provides a practical path for reconstruction, stressing the need for it to be based on a framework that ensures stability and lasting peace.

The statement added that his country is working closely with its partners in the European Union and the region to support the implementation of this initiative, noting that international cooperation is essential to ensure the effective reconstruction of Gaza and the achievement of sustainable stability in the region.
