KUWAIT, March 11, 2025 (WAFA) – Kuwait condemned Tuesday the Israeli occupation's decision to cut off electricity supplies to the Gaza Strip.
In a statement, Kuwait’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the Israeli occupation forces’ practices and the use of the policy of collective punishment against the Palestinian people.
It slammed the decision to cut off electricity as a violation of the most basic rights and the principles of international law and international humanitarian law.
Kuwait renewed its call on the international community, especially the UN Security Council, to intervene immediately to halt the violations committed by the occupation forces, allow the unimpeded entry of humanitarian aid, and oblige Israel, the occupying power, to refrain from the policy of starvation and deprivation against Palestinians.
