NEW YORK, March 10, 2025 (WAFA) - The United Nations Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the occupied Palestinian Territories, Francesca Albanese, said Israel cutting off electricity supplies to Gaza means, among other things, no functioning desalination stations, and therefore no clean water – “a warning of genocide.”
She stressed in a post on X that failing to impose sanctions and an arms embargo against Israel means, among other things, aiding and assisting Israel in the commission of one of the most preventable genocides in our history.
