GAZA, March 3, 2025 (WAFA) – Two civilians were killed by Israeli occupation forces on Monday morning in central Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.
Israeli forces targeted multiple areas across the northern and southern regions of the enclave, as Israel persistently evades its obligations under the second phase of the ceasefire agreement, following the end of the first phase earlier this week.
An Israeli military helicopter fired two missiles at a site in the Al-Mawasi area west of Khan Yunis, injuring three civilians.
Meanwhile, Israeli military vehicles intensely fired live rounds east of Jabalia, in the north of the Strip. Israeli naval forces also opened fire off the coast of Khan Yunis, as Israeli helicopters heavily patrolled the western airspace of Rafah.
Since the ceasefire was declared, hospitals in Gaza have received 116 slain civilians, most of whom were retrieved from under the rubble, in addition to 490 injured individuals.
