JENIN, February 23, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces imposed a curfew on the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin.
The governor of Jenin said in a press statement that the occupation forces announced the start of a military operation in the town of Qabatiya, accompanied by a 48-hour curfew, starting this morning.
The occupation forces stormed the town at dawn today, accompanied by military bulldozers, and began destroying streets and infrastructure and cutting off water and electricity lines.
Ahmad Zakarneh said in a phone call with WAFA that the occupation bulldozers destroyed the main entrance to the town from the direction of the Martyrs' Roundabout, reaching the Jerusalem Roundabout, and also vandalized citizens' properties, shops and vehicles, and completed the destruction of side roads between houses, and parts of the Martyrs' Cemetery at the entrance to the town and a café were bulldozed.
