UPDATE: Israeli forces storm multiple areas across the West Bank

NABLUS, February 21, 2025 (WAFA) - Israeli occupation forces carried out multiple raids across the West Bank on Friday, storming towns and villages in Nablus, Hebron and Bethlehem governorates, according to local and security sources.

In Nablus, several Palestinians suffocated by tear gas fired by Israeli forces during a military incursion into the towns of Beita and Tell and the village of Qaryut. According to security and local sources, the occupation forces raided the said areas amid the firing of live bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters, causing several suffocation cases among residents. They were all treated at the scene.

Meanwhile, in Hebron, Israeli forces raided the town of Idhna, west of the city, where they set up a military checkpoint in one of its neighborhoods, stopped Palestinian vehicles and assaulted passengers.

In Bethlehem, several civilians suffocated after inhaling tear gas fired by Israeli forces during a military raid on the village of Marah Rabah.

 According to the head of the Marah Rabah village council, Hussain al-shaikh, forces stationed their troops throughout several areas in the village and fired tear gas and stun grenades toward residents’ homes and commercial shops, causing several residents to suffocate.
