ADDIS ABABA, February 15, 2025 (WAFA) – With the participation of the President of the State of Palestine, Mahmoud Abbas, the 38th African Union Summit kicked off today in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa.

 The President is set to deliver a speech at the summit, which will address the situation in Palestine.

The President arrived in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa on Friday evening, to participate in the summit, which is being held over two days, with the participation of a large number of African leaders.

The President is set to meet on the sidelines of the summit with a number of African leaders to discuss the latest developments, and mobilize support and backing for the Palestinian cause in international forums, in addition to bilateral relations and ways to enhance them to serve the interests of friendly countries and peoples.
