HEBRON, February 3, 2025 (WAFA) – Colonists continued on Monday to bulldoze Palestinian-owed land in the Masafer Yatta area in the southern West Bank district of Hebron, to make way for the construction of a new colonial road.

Activist Osama Makhamra told WAFA that colonists continued today to carry out excavation and bulldozing operations near an illegal colony illegally established on Masafer Yatta lands.

The bulldozing operations impacted Palestinian properties located between the villages of Khirbet Um al-Kheir and Sadit Athaleh.

Makhamra further explained that the excavation and bulldozing work is taking place close to Palestinian residents’ homes in Um al-Kheir, which are now caged in as a result of the ongoing colonial expansion, exacerbating the isolation and hardships faced by the residents.
