Colonists attack Palestinian farmers near Nablus

NABLUS, February 3, 2025 (WAFA) – Colonists attacked farmers in al-Masoudiya archaeological area, northwest of Nablus, on Monday afternoon.

Local sources said that a number of settlers, under the protection of occupation soldiers, forced farmers to leave their lands in al-Masoudiya area, with the aim of controlling Badis hill, which is located west of the said area, and contains housing projects and a reservoir for the Nablus Municipality.

The mayor of Sebastia, Mohammad Azem, told WAFA that about 7,000 dunums are being gradually controlled by settlers in al-Masoudiya area, which is part of the lands of Sebastia and Barqa.

He called on all organizations to intervene to stop these attacks, noting that al-Masoudiya area is considered a food basket and contains a water basin that supplies Nablus with water.

It is worth noting that 15 families living in al-Masoudiya area suffer from the constant raids and attacks of colonists, with the aim of controlling this area.
