For the second day in a row, Israeli forces continue military assault on Tubas

TUBAS, February 3, 2025 (WAFA) - The Israeli occupation forces continue the military aggression and siege on Al-Far'a camp and the town of Tamoun, south of Tubas, for the second day in a row.

Since the beginning of the incursion, the occupation forces have begun to bulldoze the roads and infrastructure leading to Al-Far'a camp, in addition to closing all its entrances with earth mounds, in addition to raiding homes around the camp, forcing their residents to flee, and turning them into military barracks.

These forces also raided homes of citizens on the outskirts of the town of Tamoun, forcing them to flee, and informing them not to return for 10 days.

The occupation bulldozers also destroyed a water pipeline between the town of Tamoun and the village of Atouf, in addition to closing the road connecting the two areas with earth mounds.

During this, the director of the Palestinian Prisoner's Society (PPS) in Tubas, Kamal Bani Odeh, said that the occupation detained 10 civilians from Tamoun and Al-Far'a camp.

Bani Odeh added that the occupation forces detained eight citizens from Tamoun.

The occupation forces continue to send military reinforcements to Tamoun and Al-Far'a camp, while Israeli reconnaissance aircraft continue to fly intensively in the skies of the governorate.

Later yesterday evening, special units infiltrated the city of Tubas and raided a house, followed by military reinforcements from the Tayasir checkpoint east of Tubas, before withdrawing from the city.
